Across The Road is hand appliqued and stitched, on soft linen jelly cloth with unbound corners. It is part of my Home and Garden Series, which I began in October 2019. It is a visual diary, like little snapshots, of my experience wandering through both my own city and various others during my travels these past few years. The piece reminds me of the orderly gardens I strolled through during my many visits to Japan and the fields I fly overhead time and time again. It is sold framed and measures 12” x 13.5”
